about the founder, rebecca chung

Rebecca Chung is a permanent make-up specialist and a skilled trainer teaching in the US, UK, Russia, the Netherlands and China.  She founded PrincessBrows in Hong Kong in 2011 and the PrincessBrows Training Academy in 2013.

A pioneer in the industry, Rebecca has created her own manual semi-permanent brow technique, Micro Blading, and was the first beauty therapist in Hong Kong to offer hairline tattoo and lash tattoo treatments. She has been a speaker at numerous permanent make-up conferences worldwide, and in 2014, was named Biotek Quality Ambassador for the high level of quality and professionalism achieved in her work with Biotek pigments.

In 2015, she launched a brand, The House of PMU, offering a permanent make-up pigment treatment series. She also created Precision Microblades – a high-end brow tattooing tool for beauty therapists and the first of its kind on the market. The tool is made to the highest standards of health and safety : every single needle is sterilized and individually packed to avoid contamination. It comes with a safety cap and is 100% disposable.

Rebecca also organised The House of PMU Masterclass Conference and Permanent Make-Up Championship in 2016 – a first for Hong Kong. More than 80 participants from all around the world flew in to participate in this memorable event.
